Jackie was introduced to our startup cohorts by Durham University. She gave us an amazing experience. We were comfortably pushed out of our comfort zone just to discover how amazing our public speaking skills are. I think up until the point i met Jackie, I was never confident with my skills and the way i deliver it. It was nicely polished and upgraded just within few hours. She took a very gradual pace for us to refine our skills. If you are in for a great public speaking coach, definitely recommend Jackie.

I have known Jackie for most of my life and have participated in her plays and theater workshops. When applying to boarding school last year, Jackie helped me prepare for my interview through simulating what we expected would be my interviews set up. Having never been in an interview situation before and after practicing with Jackie in presenting myself, I went into my interview feeling confident and fully prepared. Jackie’s preparation made a big impact on me being accepted into boarding school. I have been apart of the LYTS community for many years and Jackie’s camps have been very formative experiences in my life. I used to be very shy but LYTS programs allowed me to come out of my shell and feel free to express myself through acting. I made some of my closest friends and met many of my inspiring role models through my experiences with Jackie. Experiences with LYTS enabled me to make connections with a diverse and charismatic community that I will forever appreciate being apart of.

Jackie Dack organized a group of students who were interviewed at Barbary Beach about their impressions of the importance of healthy oceans. This was in preparation for a large Art installation project that sadly never materialized called Big Art Meets the Ocean. The videographer was Paul Mockler. The day went well and would not have been possible without the assistance given by Jackie Dack.

Innovative. Creative. Visionary. Thrilling. And above all, professional. These are words I would use to describe my experience under the direction of Jackie Dack. My name is Joanna Llambias and I am a professional vocalist in Charlotte, NC. I met Jackie Dack in 2005 in Freeport, Bahamas where I had the privilege and honor of working with her on several projects. She, single-handedly, taught me about taking risks, thinking outside the box, and coaxing out the core of the character I was playing. She can glean 110% from anyone she directs. She is so focused on the end product that is presented to her audience, that she lives and breathes the project until its fruition. Anyone fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with Jackie Dack, will benefit greatly and learn much.

A truly fantastic session, Jackie has inspired me and opened my eyes to the world of public speaking. before the session, I would have cowered away at the thought of getting up and speaking in front of anyone. Now, I feel like I would be more inclined to make the jump and say yes to opportunities that come up, and feel like I have the tools to be able to do a good job of it! Thank you Jackie

Inspirational ... we discovered how to adjust our posture, tone, and voice to feel confident and like we owned the room ... I believe that by learning from Jackie how to instill confidence in our pupils, as teachers we have the opportunity to change lives for the better.

I can confidently say without hesitation, that she’s the most talented, committed, passionate, dedicated, driven and focused individual I have had the good fortune, privilege and pleasure to know and work with. She is committed to her craft and a consummate perfectionist.

Jackie is larger than life – she motivates and inspires. These are priceless and often rare qualities.

I would highly recommend Jackie as a public speaking coach. I first met Jackie in one of her group training sessions. The session was great for practicing presentation skills and getting tips and tricks for public speaking and how to remain calm. I found this training session to be a great benefit as it pushed me out of my comfort zone, which is what I really needed. Although I was being pushed out of my comfort zone, Jackie created a comfortable learning environment in which I felt able to fully throw myself into the process. This session really increased my confidence and added to my enthusiasm for improving my public speaking. Following this, I then had a 1 to 1 session with Jackie which was absolutely brilliant. This session was tailored to what I wanted to practice – advocacy in the court room. This was very different to the group session and allowed me to try different forms of presentation and how the different types can benefit me in different situations. Jackie gave me some really helpful tips and ideas for how I can improve, and what I can do going forward to elevate my presentation skills further. More than anything, Jackie has helped to really increase my confidence and has actually made me excited for my future public speaking events. Jackie is also very approachable and makes the sessions comfortable and engaging. If you are someone who wants to improve their public speaking skills and currently lacks confidence, I would really recommend Jackie’s help! Thanks again Jackie for all your help and support.
